I was referred to this facility by my primary care physician and scheduled an appointment. After receiving a confirmation call, I was informed that I would need to pay for a service that my insurance had already confirmed would be covered, so I decided to cancel the appointment. However, 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time, I received a call stating that the copay was not necessary and that the previous information was incorrect. I was told that I could still come in for my appointment, so I did, as I was only 12 minutes away.
Upon arrival, I noticed that the facility appeared outdated and poorly maintained, which made me question the quality of the testing. In the exam room, the chair looked like it hadn’t been updated in decades, which caused me to question the quality and cleanliness. They used a basic Amazon scale to take my weight. Nothing up to my standard in a matter of 10 minutes. Within the appointment I requested a specific test that should have been included, but I was informed that there would be an additional charge. At this point, I declined further service and left, as I had already suspected they might try to upcharge for every service without regard for patient care.
Unfortunately, my suspicions were confirmed when I later received a $35 bill for leaving. I strongly do not recommend this facility. It seems more focused on profit than on patient care. Instead of charging unnecessary fees, perhaps they should invest in updating their equipment.
Might I add, no service was provided. I asked the nurse to confirm any charges before changing into the paper gown and having any service provided.

I was greeted warmly by one of the receptionists. The check-in process was easy. Forgive me, I forgot the names, but not the faces! The technician who took my vitals was lovely, personable, and had a good sense of humor. I do remember Brittany, who talked to me and did my exam. Knowledgeable, professional, and personable as well. Dr. Okasi has a great team at the Greenbelt location. Thank you ladies for a pleasant first visit!

I did lots of research before scheduling my initial appointment. The receptionist Katie was super helpful answering all of the questions I had understanding I found them online and wanted to ensure I was making the right decision. She was very patient and super nice; I couldn’t wait until my appointment as I do reviews on everything I didn’t tell her who I was as I wanted to ensure her phone personality matched her in person. And to my surprise it did Katie is a very nice receptionist. And did I mention how amazing Dr Okasi is very caring and she takes the extra steps needed to ensure comfortability of her patients. The office decor is very nice as well so all around I’m glad I chose to become a patient.

My experience at Womens Wellness MD was an extremely positive one from the moment I walked in the door till I left. Dr. Okasi and her staff were so welcoming, friendly and polite. I loved the ambience of the office and the ladies at the reception were helpful and attentive. Any nerves I felt quickly dissipated. Dr. Okasi was warm and has a wonderful bedside manner. She patiently explained everything to me and gave me a lot of helpful information regarding next steps. I truly was touched by her kindness. It was an additional convenience to be able to have an ultrasound done in the office without having to go elsewhere. I will definitely recommend this practice to any woman because I am confident that their experience will be as positive as mine.

I was extremely pleased with my first visit to Dr Okasi. She was charismatic, caring and thorough. Dr Okasi took the time to review my prior history. She went above and beyond my expectation for an annual visit and for that I am extremely grateful. I look forward to my subsequent visits!!

I love coming into the office to get seen. The receptionists are very nice and polite. They acknowledge when someone comes in. The inside is very clean and pleasant. Carrie Bergstresser,WHNP Is awesome I see her for my appointments. She's great and she listens and she's very informative.
